Dynamo Kyiv has officially submitted its 24-man squad for the second qualifying round of the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League. The "White-Blues" will begin their campaign on July 22 with an away match against Hamrun Spartans, the champions of Malta. Reported by G.Business, citing the official UEFA website.

Shovkovskyi’s squad selection

The list includes 24 players selected by head coach Oleksandr Shovkovskyi for the two-leg encounter. Notable absentees include midfielders Valentyn Rubchynskyi and Ángel Torres (injured), as well as forward Matviy Ponomarenko.

Making headlines is 18-year-old striker Fedir Zadorozhnyi, who only recently joined the first team during pre-season. Another major return is that of Vladyslav Supriaha, a former U20 World Cup winner, who spent recent seasons on loan at Zorya Luhansk. Midfielder Oleksandr Yatsyk also returns from a loan spell at the same club.

The squad includes just one foreign player – Panamanian striker Eduardo Guerrero.

When and where Dynamo will face Hamrun Spartans

  • First leg: Tuesday, July 22, at the Victor Tedesco Stadium in Hamrun, Malta. Kick-off: 7:00 PM Kyiv time.
  • Second leg: Tuesday, July 29, at Arena Lublin in Lublin, Poland. Kick-off: 9:00 PM Kyiv time.

Dynamo will play all of its home matches for the 2025/26 European campaign at the 15,000-capacity Arena Lublindue to ongoing restrictions in Ukraine.

If Dynamo defeats Hamrun Spartans, the club will find out its next opponent during the third qualifying round draw on July 21.The third-round matches are scheduled for August 5–6 (first legs) and August 12–13 (second legs).The list of approved stadiums for Ukrainian clubs in European competitions has also been updated by UEFA.
